I am currently Past Chair of the School Library Association 2010-2012. I have been
Publications Coordinator/Editor for the SLA since 1995 and a member of the Executive
Committee/Board since 1992. Chair of the SLA’s SLYA Panel 2006 – 2008. SLA judge
SLA/DEMCO Library Design Award 2011. Member of the SLA/CILIP Information Literacy
Task Force.

- 24+ years of teaching and management in secondary and primary schools
- 38+ years of working with school libraries
- 7 years working on an LEA inspection, advisory and INSET team
- 16+ years experience as an independent consultant and trainer specialising in the
curriculum use of school libraries and school library development
